Just when the crowds were getting excited about Google’s mobile operating system, Android, there came some even more exciting news from Google. Google is developing an operating system based on the Chrome browser. Users are not just content with the free services, and many have hoped that Google would create an operating systems; and it’s finally happening!
While many have their fingers crossed that Chrome OS will take on Microsoft’s Windows operating system, it’s highly unlikely there’ll be such a confrontation. Google would need to use its power to convince developers to port applications previously developed for Windows over to its platform. That’s a tall order. If Google integrates its online services with the local operating system, it could take a large chunk from the netbook OS market and also many Linux distributions.

Google wave is a cool piece of technology that centers around live and concurrent editing and workflow management. What this translates into is a personal collaboration and communication tool that is fun, and perhaps an extremely powerful a platform that can be used in many different ways. Now, there is an hour and a half long presentation available on the Google wave web site. But without going through it for you to get an idea of what wave is lets put forth this analogy.
Think of a blank canvas. You and a bunch of other folks are simultaneously working on it. But you’re not just using paint and brushes. Instead, you have a multitude of tools at your disposal such as videos, pictures, maps and so on that you can pin up to the canvas to better present your point. And all this happens in real time. Say one of your fellow ‘artists’ leaves. He or she can come back and rewind and playback the flow of work to see what was missed. Okay now lets get down to the real world.
Can Google Hear Me?

While looking at book recommendation platforms, we came across this unique little web site called cangooglehearme.com in connection with one of the book web sites. Curiosity and a little bit of reading revealed that this particular web site is the result of one germ of an idea and a great deal of creativity on the part of one Mr. Aaron Stanton.
He believed that he had an idea that could be the next big thing and was just perfect for the internet megalith Google to take up.
